Kawanda Foster, a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Ph.D. trainee in the laboratory of Professor Mike Terns, received a prestigious F31 pre-doctoral fellowship from the NIH. Congratulations to Kawanda for her achievement!
Harry Dailey, professor emeritus of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and of Microbiology, was recently elected to serve on the Advisory Board of the Center for Iron and Heme Disorders at the University of Utah, an NIH/NIDDK U54 Center of Excellence in Hematology.
Professor Emeritus Lars Ljungdahl reconnects with old friends at the December 2017 Fall Reception at the Georgia Botanical Gardens. Thanks to the BGSA for organizing this wonderful event.
