Image: BCMB undergraduate student, Grace Elizabeth Watterson, recently received the National Science Foundation's GRFP Fellowship. Grace performed her undergraduate research in the Kannan Lab for nearly four years and published a co-first author paper in e-Life, demonstrating the isoform-specific regulation of DCLK family kinases. She also presented her work at the Biochemical Society meeting in the UK. Congrats, Grace!
