Dr. Debra Mohnen and co-workers report the discovery of a novel plant cell wall structure.  These studies were published in the journal “Plant Cell” on January 31, 2013.  Dr. Mohnen’s research is funded through the NSF and the BioEnergy Science Center.  She is a faculty member in the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center and the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.
