Kausar Samli receives award at the Georgia Life Sciences Summit

Atlanta, GA- Oct. 3, 2012. Kausar N. Samli, a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Ph.D. candidate in Prof. Robert J. Woods’ research group at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC), received the Anthony Shuker Scientific Poster Award for his research poster presentation titled “Engineering a High Affinity Carbohydrate-Recognizing Protein via in silico Modeling and in vitro Directed Evolution”.
