Joshua Weiss, first year graduate student in the Krahn lab in biochemistry and molecular biology, received a $1,000 grant for outreach in the community.

Paula Lemons, professor of biochemistry and molecular biology and associate dean in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, was named a 2024 University Professor.

Michael Terns, professor in biochemistry and molecular biology, received the Morehead Honors College Lothar Tresp Outstanding Honors Professor Award, which recognizes superior teaching and dedication to Honors students. The award was dedicated to Lothar Tresp in the mid-1990s. In 1960, Dr.

Erin Dolan, professor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received a 2024 Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professorship for her excellence in teaching.
