Practical, theoretical, and instrumental aspects of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, including pulsed Fourier transform techniques, proton and carbon-13 techniques used in the analysis of organic compounds and macromolecules. Instrumentally, the focus is on the operation of NMR spectrometers presently available at the University of Georgia. 2 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week.
