Lab: Team-based Research

The objective of these courses is for students to conduct research projects in a team of undergraduate researchers, their faculty mentors, and other scientists such as graduate students, postdoctoral associates, and faculty collaborators. Students will develop research skills, including critically reading of scientific papers, designing and conducting experiments, analyzing results, presenting results orally and in writing, and collaborating with peers and other researchers. The ultimate goal is for students’ work to be included in papers published in peer-reviewed scientific research journals on which students will be co-authors.
