Physical methods used in inorganic and bioinorganic chemical research including UV/visible/near IR absorption spectroscopy, (magnetic) circular dichroism, electron paramagnetic resonance, nuclear magnetic resonance, Mossbauer and X-ray absorption spectroscopies, single crystal x-ray diffraction, and magnetochemistry. 3 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week.
