Professor Walter Schmidt was selected as the recipient of the 2023 Graduate School Outstanding Mentoring Award for the Life/Physical Sciences area. This award reflects excellence in supporting graduate students’ research, scholarship, and professional development in myriad ways, and comes with a $500 award.
