The Faculty Award for Academic Excellence recognizes a graduating senior majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology for outstanding academic accomplishments. This year's recipient is Erin Suh, who studied novel sites of O-mannosylation on APMAP/RPTPs and N-glycan microheterogeneity in Dr. Lance Wells' lab. The highlight of Erin's time at BCMB was her study away trip in Cortona, Italy. Erin plans to pursue a medical degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine starting this fall.
